As President of the Emerald Coast Senior Scratch Series (ECSSS), welcome to the 2012 season for the best senior amateur golf along the Gulf Coast.  The ECSSS began in 1992, and we have attracted members from as far away as North Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Kentucky.  The ECSSS organizational concept and the quality of play of the membership make us welcome at the best golf courses along the Gulf Coast in northwest Florida, south Alabama, and Mississippi. 

The ECSSS is now in its 21st year as a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting fellowship and friendly competition in golf among senior amateur golfers.  It is significant that the ECSSS has been recognized by the United States Golf Association among their subordinate organizations and is an approved "point getter" if one is seeking membership in the prestigious Society of Seniors golf organization.  Also, the Florida State Golf Association awards exemptions into its Senior Amateur Championship to the top three point winners and Match Play champion. 

The ECSSS By-Laws provides for a seven-man elected Board of Directors to represent you and to assist in the running of the organization and tournaments.  The Directors are all experienced ECSSS players.  Please do not hesitate to contact me or any other board member when you have questions, concerns or suggestions regarding the organization.
